To the best friend - flowers, butterfly and bee A6 card

To the best friend - flowers, butterfly and bee A6 card

Hi Craft addicts!

Today's card is the 2nd (or maybe 3rd) in a series of projects using the same stamp in different ways.... this time I have used black card and white embossing powder..

How I made this card:-
  • I first of all used Versamark ink to stamp the Bold Blooms - Caroline flower spray onto some Black card (Lynda Chapman's) and then added some True White embossing powder and heat set it.
  • Using the white pencil from the Chameleon set of crayons,I coloured in the flowers and then used a variety of other colours such as red, blue and green to finish them off.
  • I also added some green to the leaves and smaller blooms.
  • Once I was happy with the colouring, I then cut around it trying to leave an equal border around the image.
  • I then attached it to the front of an A6 white card using PVA glue.
  • I had previously coloured a background using alcohol inks and I cut out the Butterfly from one of the dies from The Paper Boutique Butterfly Embellishments set and stuck it to the bottom left hand corner again using PVA glue.
  • I cut the Bee out using another of the Paper Boutique set of dies (there are 3 each), but I just used the body and cut that out in black, and then the block body/wings in Orange card (from Create & Craft's Core Collection).
  • I attached the black part to the orange using PVA glue and then cut out a strip of acetate and folded it into an M shape and used 2 pieces of red liner tape to stick it to the card.
  • Finally, I stamped the sentiment on to some white stamping card using Gina K Black Amalgam ink, fussy cut around it and added it to the middle of the card using foam pads.
