Congratulations - Wedding couple in silhouette on floral background - Day 316 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card for day 316 of my 365 day challenge is one that I made some time ago using a topper from Kanban and some Zig Clean Color pens.... How I made this card:- I decided that I liked the silhouette toppers from a Kanban kit more than the others, and decided to colour the flowers in purple (using Zig Clean Color Watercolour pens) along with green for the leaves. I then coloured the couple's hair using yellow and brown pens and pink and blue for the bouquet and ribbons. Using a bright pink alcohol marker, I edged the topper in it and then stuck it using PVA glue to the front of a 7" x 5" white card. Finally, I added the Congratulations sentiment tag to the bottom of the card with foam pads. And there you are  a card that would be totally appropriate to send to a couple who are getting married! Thinking of you - with love - Couple on bench in silhouette -  Day 192 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a 7" square card using a variety of Companies' products - from Kanban, Hunkydory, Craftwork Cards with a drop (or quite a few) from Tonic Studios , finishing with some Clouding Blending inks from Creative Expressions. I first of all took one of Craftwork Cards "embossed" white "daisy" frames and coloured it using some pink and yellow blending inks from Creative Expressions . I tried to make sure that there was an equal amount of both colours showing when the topper was on it. I then cut out the square  from a Tonic Studios die (it measures 140mm ) using some black and white spotty papers (from Craft Creations ). Before I added the frame to it, I cut a length of the pink Organza ribbon and attached it to the centre of it. I then stuck the frame on to the panel using Collall All purpose glu...

Art Deco/30's couple on 6" square card -  Day 177 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a nod to the Art Deco/1930's as the topper is really bright and cheerful. I have had it some time so am not really sure where it came from but still.... The card itself is very simple to make - I first of all used the "Best Wishes" line sentiment from Clarity stamps using a black Versafine ink pad and added it to all four sides having made sure that the topper fits within them. I then added some foam pads to the topper and placed it in the middle of the card. I then added some "Caribbean Ocean" Gloss Nuvo crystal drops. I have left the inside blank so it can be added to at a latest stage. You're the best - Butterfly in purple frame 6" square card -  Day 173 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So, for today's challenge ( Day 173 ), I have used a really pretty butterfly image from the " Shadows and Silhouettes " card making kit from Kanban. I first of all used a sheet of the " Purple " "Ombre" paper from the 8" x 8" pad by Craftwork Cards and cut out a panel measuring approximately 11cm with the Tattered Lace " Pin dot square s" die collection and another one in black card which is about 10cm . I then glued the larger panel on to the front of the card which I decided to use as a " Tentfold " style. I edged the topper with some black alcohol marker and then stuck it on to the smaller panel. Before adding it to the card, I edged the larger panel with some " black" flower shaped peel off stickers. I used foam pads to raise the topper a bit and attached it to the righ...

Just because - Art Deco lady in oval frame 7" square card -  day 171 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have time jumped today as I missed 2 days of my challenge - which I am going to have to catch up on later this week - where I will do 2 ideas a day!!! Anyway, for today's card, I have used a really lovely image of an Art Deco dressed lady on a 7" square card.... This topper (I think it is from a set from Kanban and comes in different styles and colours) was pre die-cut and comes in 2 parts and so I separated them first of all.- I then took a sheet of black and white 6" striped paper (from Craftwork Cards' Heritage Rose paper pad) and stuck it to the middle of the left hand side of the card. As there was now a gap on the top and bottom of the card, I cut out a long "torn edged " border strip in black card using my Brother Scan n Cut   and glued them to both. Once that was dry, I then glued on the larger topper using Cosmic Shi...

Couple dancing with a Sax player in background - C5 white card -  Day 165 of my 366 day challenge  Hi Craft addicts! I am really pleased with this card as it mixes several companies'  products so well. I have chosen an A5 white card (again like so many of the cards I use, this is from the multipack from Hunkydory) as it is the right size to " showcase " all the images I want to use. I had previously hand coloured a panel of white hammered card (C6 pre cut from Craft Creations) using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Generation INXS ink pads in purple and pink shades adding a few circles of the darker ink with the thicker end of the Creative Expression Smoothies s ponges. Using the " damask " style frame from one of the toppers (from the " Shadows and Silhouettes " collection) from Kanban, I stuck it to the panel using " fingerlift tape " and then added another slightly larger panel of black card and glued the whole thing...

Man with trilby hat in silhouette with guitar - Celebrate!  Day 146 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Day 146 of my challenge and thought another "masculine" card was in order. I made this simple but stylish (well I hope so anyway!!!) I used a 6" embossed card from the "All White" cards from Craftwork Cards as the basis and made it as follows... I first of all took one of the frames that I had left over from the "Shadows and Silhouettes" card making collection from Kanban and glued it to the front of the card leaving the embossed part free. I then detached one of the toppers in the same kit and cut it to fit using the Tattered Lace Pin dot circle dies. Before placing the topper on to the card, I took the "Celebrate" sentiment from Craftwork Cards and coloured it slightly and attached it on the card so that it would show when the topper was in place.
