You're the best - Butterfly in purple frame 6" square card -
Day 173 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
So, for today's challenge (Day 173), I have used a really pretty butterfly image from the "Shadows and Silhouettes" card making kit from Kanban.
I first of all used a sheet of the "Purple" "Ombre" paper from the 8" x 8" pad by Craftwork Cards and cut out a panel measuring approximately 11cm with the Tattered Lace "Pin dot squares" die collection and another one in black card which is about 10cm.
I then glued the larger panel on to the front of the card which I decided to use as a "Tentfold" style. I edged the topper with some black alcohol marker and then stuck it on to the smaller panel.
Before adding it to the card, I edged the larger panel with some "black" flower shaped peel off stickers. I used foam pads to raise the topper a bit and attached it to the right hand side of the card.
I then added some "Clear" Nuvo crystal drops to the butterfly's antennae and also around the edge of its' wings and body. I also used the "You're the Best" sentiment stamp from the "Just for Men" collection by Crafter's Companion (Sara Davies's designs).
And there you are....a bright and cheerful card and don't forget you can buy from me here
