Hello - Feathers n Foil square 6" card -
day 167 of my 366 day challenge]
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's card is a quick and easy card to make using the foiling function on the TODO machine.
So I first of all foiled a piece of red Adorable Scorable cardstock with gold foil using the "Feathers" Hot foil and Letterpress template from TODO (I used all of them in a random pattern). As the experts say, you really do need to learn your machine as I had to try a couple of times before I was happy with the result.
Using one of the Tattered Lace "Pin dot circles" dies, I then cut the card so that you can see most of the feathers. I also cut out a jagged edged square (approx 5") in black card (American Crafts this time) using one of the pre-installed shapes in the Brother Scan n Cut and glued it to the front of a 6" white card.
I attached the main topper using foam pads in the middle of the background and thought for a bit of fun, I would add the "pheasant" to the top right hand corner and three "Apple Green" Nuvo crystal drops to the left hand one.
I felt it needed something else, so glued the sentiment "Hello" in white card to the centre of it.
And there you are....a bright and cheerful card which I have made using hot foil.
