Hello - black and white C5 white card - Day 168 of my 366 day challenge
Hello - black and white C5 white card -
Day 168 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
So for today's card, I have desgned this simple but I think stylish monochrome card using my electronic cutting machine.
I first of all cut out 3 strips of black and white card using 3 of their different border templates - the scalloped, deckle and jagged edges.
I then placed the largest of the strips (in black) where I wanted it to go and glued it down (must admit that I tried it in various positions but ended up with the card being landscape instead of portrait.
Using the white torn/deckle edged strip, I glued it down the middle of the black one making sure that it was even on both sides and then added the remaining black jagged edged strip down the left hand side of the card about 2 inches from the bottom (or side).
I had already cut out the flower shape using my Brother Scan n Cut and added it to where the two strips joined and then cut out the "Hello" template in black cardstock (it measures approximately 14x7cm) and stuck it in the space under the long strip.
I then added a pink button to add a bit of colour.
And there you are....a bright and cheerful card and don't forget you can buy from me here
