Take it easy... Leopard on branch 7" square card - day 175 of my 366 day challenge
Take it easy... Leopard on branch 7" square card -
day 175 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
So I am once again using one of the wonderful images of a leopard lying on a branch that is part of the "Walk in the Wild" cardmaking kit from Pollyanna Pickering that Creative Crafting World brought out a few months ago.
I first of all cut out a scalloped circle using the "Pin dot Circle" die from Tattered Lace and hand coloured it using blue, pink, orange and purple "Generation INX" pads and stuck the round topper on to it.
I then cut out a strip of black card using one of the pre-installed templates on my Brother Scan n Cut and placed one on the left hand side of the card (after I had glued the blue and white patterned border that came with the "Walk in the Wild" kit on it) and stuck it down. With the remaining piece, I cut it into two and stuck one part on the left hand edge of the card and measuring where I wanted the topper to go, placed the other on the right hand side.
Once I was happy, I then attached the main topper onto them using some foam pads. I then cut out the "Take it Easy" sentiment from the Paper Popper pad that accompanies the collection and added it to some black card and placed it on the bottom right hand corner again with some foam pads...To finish the card off, I added some "Caribbean Ocean" Nuvo Gloss crystal drops down the left hand side and 3 drops on the top right hand corner.
