Good Luck Sunburst Cream and black DL card

Image
Good Luck Sunburst Cream and black DL card Hi Craft addicts! Well it is nearly the weekend and the sun has begun to shine here and I thought it appropriate to post this card which is very simple to make... How I made this card:- I first of all cut out two die-cuts of the Synergy Lattice 3 die, one in black card and the other in cream/ivory (see below for details). I then cut the black one in half (I didn't want to use the solid piece of the card) and then glued it to the front of a white DL card, making sure that half of the circle was free! I will use the cream die-cut another time but decided to paper piece the main parts into either side of the design and then 3 points of the sunburst - I used Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue to do this... I also used the semi circle of the cream die-cut and glued it to just below the circle again using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue. I felt that the above needed something extra, so I used the Good Luck sentiment from one of Paper Boutique...

Happy Birthday - Flowers on extended topper DL landscape card

Happy Birthday - Flowers on extended topper  DL landscape card Hi Craft addicts! I really like this new Synergy die from Toni Darroch's Stamps by Me range along with a stamp from Woodware.... How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the Synergy Die in black card (Lynda Chapman's Paper Boutique). There is only one half with the decorative panel so I used my Scoreboard to score down the middle of it and folded it in half. I then added glue to the panel (and half of the square) and attached it to the front of a white DL card (landscape). I coloured some of the spaces in using an orange alcohol marker (making sure that it didn't bleed through to the back of the card). I stamped the flowers panel (from Woodware Petals & Swirls) on to some white stamping card (using Black Amalgam ink from Gina K) and coloured it in using Oranges, Purples, Blues and Greens Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers). I trimmed around it and stuck it to the middle of the square ...

Let's Go on an adventure - wizard and dragon on hand painted background card Hi Craft addicts! Once again I had a great time making this card - I had been trying out painting a background and as usual wondered what to do with it - then I got this idea! How I made this card:- I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints to create the background- blues, yellows, reds, greens and black - once I was fairly happy with the result, I left it the panel (white stamping card but you could use watercolour card. I then stamped out the Wizard and Dragon (along with the sentiment Let's go on an Adventure) on to some white stamping card using Black Gina K Amalagam ink. These stamps are from the Dragon's Cove collection from Rare Earth. I used Spectrum Noir Tri-blenders to colour them in -  I wanted them to be slightly different than normal so used Green shades for the Wizard and then Purples for the Dragon. When I finished them, I used a Craft knife (We R Memory ...

Happy Birthday XXX frog in waistcoat 7x5in white card Hi Craft addicts! I had so much fun making this frog themed Birthday card which can be used for young and old alike! How I made this card:- I first of all stamped the froggy background and the frog itself out on to some white stamping card using Gina K Black Amalgam ink. I then used one of Tattered Lace's Antique Lace Essential Circle dies to cut the background out and used two of their Pin Dot Circles to cut the green and white circles using Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps paper pad. I hand painted the frogs in the background and the main frog stamp using Dreamees Dinkie Inkies inks - green, red and blue. I then cut out the frog leaving a narrow white border all around it. I used the Happy Birthday stamp sentiment (from Bert & Gert's Ball Games set 2) and stamped it again onto some white stamping card and cut it out with one of the smaller Antique Lace dies. I stuck the three main background cir...
