Butterflies Birthday 8" birthday card -  Day 265 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's challenge, I have used a sheet of the beautiful "Falling Leaves" paper pad from First Edition (Trimcraft) along with the "Happy Birthday Butterfly" die from Tattered Lace. To make the topper and card:- I first of all cut the front of the 8" square card along the diagonal line using the "Cutterpillar-Pro" - this is brilliant as the light makes it so easy to cut a proper line! I then decided which paper design I would use and chose this "butterfly" one and used my "Brother ScannCut and cut out the "wavy edged" shape. I glued it to the pre-cut 6" "Gold" Mirri card (from Hunkydory). Happy birthday - glitter and gold square card -  day 255 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I wanted to try out some Tonic Studios Nuvo glitter and so decided to make this bright and cheerful "birthday" card.... To make the card I did the following :- Using an 8" white square card (from Hunkydory) I cut approximately 8.5cm off the right hand side of the card I then used one of Hunkydory's pre-cut 6" square "Gold Mirri" Mats and added a pretty white floral circle frame ( which I think is Tattered Lace)  in the centre of it. I took some wide ultra strong red liner tape and placed it on the left hand side of the card leaving a small gap between it and the fold of the card and taking the backing off used some "Violet Infusion" Tonic Studios Nuvo Pure Sheen glitter - I repeated it using narrow tape on the inside of the card (the part that shows) again leaving a small gap. Best Wishes (Lilies) 8" easel card -  day 225 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts So for today's challenge (day 225), I have used a really striking image from the Malcolm Greensmith's "A New Day Dawns"  from Creative Crafting World. To make the topper itself -   the topper (from the Malcolm Greensmith's " A New Day Dawns" collection from Creative Crafting World comes on a sheet of 2 along with sentiments and border strips which makes them great value for card makers!.  I wanted to use an 8" square car d so I mat and layered the topper on to some black cardstock (Lynda Chapman's from CCW) and used the "Scallop" Cropadile to shape the corners.  I then placed it on to a "Silver" mirror mat from Hunkydory leaving the corners straight.and allowed to dry as I used Collall All Purpose Glue.  To make the card -  i used the "Deco" Cropadile cutter to shape all the edges of the ...

Shimmery butterflies - Happy Birthday 7" card -  Day 222 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is something slightly different insomuch that I had cut some butterflies out from silver mirror card and wanted to see what they looked like if I coloured them with alcohol markers! HOW I MADE THE TOPPERS AND SENTIMENT So, I first of all took some "silver" mirri/mirror card and embossed it using the Xcut "Filigree Circle" folder. II then cut round the embossed part of the circle and coloured the "filigree" part using the " TB4" alcohol marker from Spectrum Noir.  I then repeated the process with an A6 sheet of Mirri/Mirror card using the Xcut "Small dots" embossing folder, trimming it slightly and then coloured the edges with the same marker as above.   For the " butterflies", I used the same mirri/mirror card and cut twIo out from the "Butterflies" collectio...

Wild Thing - Leopard on branch (Pollyanna Pickering) - 8"card -  day 219 of my 366 day challenge  Hi Craft addicts! So, once again, I have turned to the stunning leopard artwork from the renowned wildlife artist Pollyanna Pickering for this 8" card that makes up day 219 of my 366 day challenge . I first of all cut off about an inch from the front of the 8" white card as I wanted part of the decoration to appear on the inside but which could be seen straight away, I have also used 3 inserts from the Walk in the Wild (Pollyanna Pickering) insert collection to make this card (and still have some left over to add to other cards). Then, using the "Chains Panel" die from Tattered Lace , I die cut the panels using the Leopard Prin t and blue patterned insert (that matches the edge of the main image). Reach for the Stars (Fairy on moon) monochrome 8" square card -  Day 213 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I really like monochrome themes and so for today's card have made this one featuring a lovely die cut from Tonic Studios and background papers from Craftwork Cards . How to make the main topper - First of all cut out the "Reach for the Stars" sentiment in white cardstock along with the main "Fairy on moon" frame. I then cut out another one in back cardstock and matted and layered them slightly offsetting them. I then placed them on some more black card so that the whole thing was black and white. Hello - Dreamcatcher 6" white square card -  Day 132 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! For today's project, I have made a 6" square deckle edged card using embossing folders, die cuts from Tattered Lace and Tonic Studios along with inks. Apologies for the photo as I just can't seem to get it properly white! I first of all took the card and cut one part of the front diagonally using the scalloped edged ( No. 10) die from the Tattered Lace Scallop Border dies .  I then used the Xcut 6" square small polka dot embossing folder and embossed the front panel twice so it shows both " embossed" and " debossed " spots.    I had previously coloured some cardstock using "Chic Aubergine" and "Decadent Denim" Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud blending inks and cut the " Dreamcatcher " die cut out (it is a Tattered Lace die).
