Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card is one I made for my 365 day challenge using some dies and Distress Oxide inks... I first of all used a Kit n Caboodle corner punch and used the "stepped" design on each corner of a white DL card. I cut out the Bubbles layer of the card using the Creative Expressions Slimline die using Lynda Chapman's Black cardstock, keeping some of the waste to add it to it later. I then used the die itself as a stencil and used a sponge dauber to colour a piece of white card with Distress Oxide/Hybrid inks in green and blue shades. Once I was happy with how it turned out, I stuck the black layer to it leaving a small white edge to some of the bubbles. I used PVA glue but I could have added the card to some self adhesive sheet and stuck it down that way. Love abstract bubbles 7" x 5" card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a really simple one making use of self adhesive paper/card to create the main background - if you want to know more then carry on reading! How I made this card:- I cut out the Bubbles die (from a new collection by HoneyDoo) in red self adhesive paper or card (this is some left over from DoCrafts). I removed all the bits from it, as it is self adhesive some stay within the pattern and don't just fall out. I then attached the whole panel directly on to the front of a 7" x 5" white card, burnishing it down with some spare paper to make sure that all the air has been removed. I had also cut it out in black card, and randomly stuck some of the bubbles etc back into the design (I used Pinflair's Glue it Bookbinding glue).
