Love abstract bubbles 7" x 5" card
Hi Craft addicts!

Today's card is a really simple one making use of self adhesive paper/card to create the main background - if you want to know more then carry on reading!


 How I made this card:-
  • I cut out the Bubbles die (from a new collection by HoneyDoo) in red self adhesive paper or card (this is some left over from DoCrafts).
  • I removed all the bits from it, as it is self adhesive some stay within the pattern and don't just fall out.
  • I then attached the whole panel directly on to the front of a 7" x 5" white card, burnishing it down with some spare paper to make sure that all the air has been removed.
  • I had also cut it out in black card, and randomly stuck some of the bubbles etc back into the design (I used Pinflair's Glue it Bookbinding glue).
  • Once I was happy with it, I then used Craft Buddy's Alphabet dies (any will do) and cut out the LOVE in red card.
  • I then stuck them on to some white card (I used the back of a card that I had made a mess of) using the Pinflair glue again.
  • I then randomly cut around the words and edged it with a Black alcohol marker and attached it to the centre of the card using foam pads.
And there you are a quick and easy card that you could used for Valentine's Day....

  • White 7" x 5" straight edged card - available from various suppliers such as Hunkydory, Create & Craft, Tonic etc.
  • Bubbles die from Honeydoo
  • Alphabet die set from Craft Buddy
  • White stamping card - Ink Me from Hunkydory, Rare Earth's Own brand or Lynda Chapman's  World of Paper work really well
  • Red cardstock
  • Red self adhesive paper or card
  • Black cardstock (I used Lynda Chapman's World of Paper)
  • Black alcohol marker
  • Pinflair Bookingbinding glue
  • Foam pads

  Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is one that would be great for Valentine's Day and makes use of both dies and stamps! I had cut the backing layer for another project but didn't use it so decided to use it with this one. It is a Rose Gold colour Mirror card and the die is from Stamps By Me (I think). I attached it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card using fingerlift tape as I didn't want to have any glue showing. I stamped the cute kids image out on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink - the stamp is from Bring on the Boys collection from Linnie Pink I coloured them in using Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Triblenders as they make colouring in so easy with the 3 shades in one pen. I used blue and green Distress Oxide inks for the background and then edged it with a black alcohol marker. Hummingbird shadow effect on C6 white card -  Day 267 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 267) came about after I had cut out the "Songbird" die from the Couture collection and thought it would be really useful as a stencil using some inks. To make the topper:- I had cut out the "Songbird" die (from Couture by Create and Craft) out in white card and thought that it would make a really good stencil to use as a background. I took one of the Stamping card tags from Craftwork Cards (in the " Stamping Must haves ) collection and coloured over the die-cut in various places (also reversing it so the bird was looking the other way).I used a variety of green ink pads - Tm Holtz " Mowed Lawn " and Generation INX G01. Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card - Day 265 of my 365 day challenge

Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card -  Day 265 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! The rain has finally stopped and so I have made this simple but effective card using stamps and dies... How I made this card:- I used one of Tattered Lace Floral Wreath dies to cut out the main topper in white card. I then coloured it with various shades of green alcohol markers and when I was happy with it, I stuck it to some Gold Mirri Card (approximately 3" square) and then using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (or Gina K's Connect glue) I attached it to the front of a 6" black pearlescent card which is part of the Core Collection from Create & Craft so it formed a diamond shape. Using Orange, Red and Yellow Bleeding Art Tissue, I coloured some card and when it was dry I used a Tattered Lace Nested Beads Essential Circle Dies to die cut a circle.
