Hi Craft addicts!

The weekend has come around so quickly hasn't it? I made this card a few weeks ago and was really pleased with how it turned out so decided to share it on here!
How I made this card:-
  • I used a scalloped edged heart nested die (there are quite a few Companies that now produce them) and cut it out in Black card.
  • I then cut out the Butterfly die (I think it is a Tattered Lace one) in White card and stuck it to the front of the heart with some Pinflair Glue it Bookbinding glue.
  • I also used the square panel die from Tattered Lace's Antique Lace 3D Decoupage collection to cut it out in White card.
  • Once I had taken out all the waste bits, I then edged it with some Blue ink (any will do but I think it is from Altenew this time).
  • I also edged all sides of a 6" square card so that it matched.
  • I stuck the Heart and Butterfly panel on to the white card using the Pinflair glue again and then attached the whole thing to the middle of the 6" card. Once it was attached, I used some plain self adhesive pearls to create the antennae etc.
  • I also stamped out the Hugs and Kisses sentiment on to some white card using Gina K's Black amalgam ink and cut around it in a random way and edged that too with the Blue ink.
  • I used foam pads to attach it to the bottom right corner.
And there you are a quick and easy card that you could used for Valentine's Day....

  • White 6" straight edged card - available from various suppliers such as Hunkydory, Create & Craft, Tonic etc.
  • Butterfly die (I think this is a Tattered Lace one)
  • Scalloped edged Heart die
  • Antique Lace 3D Decoupage Die collection from Tattered Lace
  • White stamping card - Ink Me from Hunkydory, Rare Earth's Own brand or Lynda Chapman's  World of Paper work really well
  • Black cardstock (I used Lynda Chapman's World of Paper)
  • Blue Distress or dyebased inks
  • Self Adhesive pearls from Dawn Bibby
  • Pinflair Bookingbinding glue
  • Foam pads

  Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is one that would be great for Valentine's Day and makes use of both dies and stamps! I had cut the backing layer for another project but didn't use it so decided to use it with this one. It is a Rose Gold colour Mirror card and the die is from Stamps By Me (I think). I attached it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card using fingerlift tape as I didn't want to have any glue showing. I stamped the cute kids image out on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink - the stamp is from Bring on the Boys collection from Linnie Pink I coloured them in using Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Triblenders as they make colouring in so easy with the 3 shades in one pen. Hummingbird shadow effect on C6 white card -  Day 267 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 267) came about after I had cut out the "Songbird" die from the Couture collection and thought it would be really useful as a stencil using some inks. To make the topper:- I had cut out the "Songbird" die (from Couture by Create and Craft) out in white card and thought that it would make a really good stencil to use as a background. I took one of the Stamping card tags from Craftwork Cards (in the " Stamping Must haves ) collection and coloured over the die-cut in various places (also reversing it so the bird was looking the other way).I used a variety of green ink pads - Tm Holtz " Mowed Lawn " and Generation INX G01. Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card - Day 265 of my 365 day challenge

Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card -  Day 265 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! The rain has finally stopped and so I have made this simple but effective card using stamps and dies... How I made this card:- I used one of Tattered Lace Floral Wreath dies to cut out the main topper in white card. I then coloured it with various shades of green alcohol markers and when I was happy with it, I stuck it to some Gold Mirri Card (approximately 3" square) and then using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (or Gina K's Connect glue) I attached it to the front of a 6" black pearlescent card which is part of the Core Collection from Create & Craft so it formed a diamond shape. Using Orange, Red and Yellow Bleeding Art Tissue, I coloured some card and when it was dry I used a Tattered Lace Nested Beads Essential Circle Dies to die cut a circle.
