Let's Go on an Adventure - shipwreck DL card - 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts! Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is an quick and easy card using just stamps and some inks.... I first of all took a white DL card and rounded the corners using my Prism (from Hunkydory) punch. I then measured a piece of white super smooth stamping card so that it would fit about 3/4 of the front of the card. I used a variety of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks from Speckled Egg to Salty Ocean and created the background, trying to make it lighter at the top. I then spritzed it with some water to lighten parts of it and let it dry. Once it was dry, I took the Treasures of the Sea Rubber Stamp from a collection of silhouette stamps by Creative Expressions Designer Boutique range and inked it up with Gina K Obsidian Black ink and stamped it on to the background, making sure that it was all inked properly.
