Hi Craft addicts!

Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one I made to give to my daughter and son in law to celebrate the birth of their first son!

  • The outline silhouette is from the new range from Sheena Douglass and is called Shaping Up Nature - Woman and I first of all snipped the bits away so there were the two main stencils.
  • I hadn't got any freezer paper but decided I would try and use it anyway, so placed it over a piece of 8" white stamping card from Hunkydory and coloured the inside with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (Broken China and Dusty Concord) blending the two colours together.
  • Once I was happy with the effect, I cut around it with some sharp scissors and glued it to the front of an A5 white card using PVA glue.
  • The baby topper are more stamps from Sheena Douglass My New World and Sleep Remember that A5 sets and I stamped them out on to white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink and coloured it in using Spectrum Noir Tri Blender markers.
  • When I was happy with the result, I cut that out and added it to the card, this time with foam pads.
  • The name Oisin was cut out in white card using the Alphabet Carousel die set and attached it to the bottom of the card using a tape pen.

So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:-
