Hello My Friend Abstract flower A2 Kraft card - 365 day challenge

  Hi Craft addicts!     

Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is a bright and cheerful card that should bring some fun to anyone you send it to...

  • I first of all rounded the corner of an A2 Kraft card (from Tonic Studios) with a Hunkydory Prism punch.
  • I then took one of Hunkydory's Tags (from their pad) and masked off two areas - one about 1.5" from the top and another at the bottom with some of their Washi tape.
  • I painted the areas with Lava Orange Neon polish from Creative Expressions and left it to dry and then repeated the process and again left it to dry.
  • I removed the masking tape and then added some wide red liner tape to just below the painted areas, removed the backing layer and placed some black foil over it and burnished it until there was no sticky parts on it.
  • I then repeated the process again at the top.
  • I used the abstract flower stamp from the Dylusions set, and stamped it on to some white card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink.
  • I coloured it in using Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers (yellow and orange shades) and then cut around it.
  • I used a black fineliner pen to add some more colour to the spots and then used a tape pen and stuck it to the front of the tag which I had trimmed down.
  • Using some PVA glue, I then attached the tag to the front of the card.
  • I stamped the sentiment (from Creative Expressions) out on to some white card (again using Gina K Obsidian Black ink), fussy cut around it and stuck it to the bottom of the tag.
  • Finally I added some Black Nuvo Drops (from Tonic Studios) to some of the spots and also the hole at the top.

  Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is one that would be great for Valentine's Day and makes use of both dies and stamps! I had cut the backing layer for another project but didn't use it so decided to use it with this one. It is a Rose Gold colour Mirror card and the die is from Stamps By Me (I think). I attached it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card using fingerlift tape as I didn't want to have any glue showing. I stamped the cute kids image out on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink - the stamp is from Bring on the Boys collection from Linnie Pink I coloured them in using Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Triblenders as they make colouring in so easy with the 3 shades in one pen. I used blue and green Distress Oxide inks for the background and then edged it with a black alcohol marker. Hummingbird shadow effect on C6 white card -  Day 267 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 267) came about after I had cut out the "Songbird" die from the Couture collection and thought it would be really useful as a stencil using some inks. To make the topper:- I had cut out the "Songbird" die (from Couture by Create and Craft) out in white card and thought that it would make a really good stencil to use as a background. I took one of the Stamping card tags from Craftwork Cards (in the " Stamping Must haves ) collection and coloured over the die-cut in various places (also reversing it so the bird was looking the other way).I used a variety of green ink pads - Tm Holtz " Mowed Lawn " and Generation INX G01. Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card - Day 265 of my 365 day challenge

Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card -  Day 265 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! The rain has finally stopped and so I have made this simple but effective card using stamps and dies... How I made this card:- I used one of Tattered Lace Floral Wreath dies to cut out the main topper in white card. I then coloured it with various shades of green alcohol markers and when I was happy with it, I stuck it to some Gold Mirri Card (approximately 3" square) and then using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (or Gina K's Connect glue) I attached it to the front of a 6" black pearlescent card which is part of the Core Collection from Create & Craft so it formed a diamond shape. Using Orange, Red and Yellow Bleeding Art Tissue, I coloured some card and when it was dry I used a Tattered Lace Nested Beads Essential Circle Dies to die cut a circle.
