Congratulations - falling leaves A6 card - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!     

As it is now officially Autumn, I have created a series of cards using the Autumn Blessings collection from Crafter's Companion along with various other products to complete them for my 365 day challenge! The first one is this Congratulations card...

  • I first of all used a variety of Aladine Izink sprays and spritzed a yellow piece of card (from Tattered Lace) to create an Autumn feel background.
  • Once it was dry, I trimmed it to fit the Autumnal Foliage 3D embossing folder, placed it inside and put it through my Big Shot foldaway cutting machine.
  • I then edged it with a black alcohol marker.
  • For the main topper, I took a tag from Hunkydory's Prism range and using some of their Washi tape to mask the centre, coloured both sides of the tag with Yellow and Orange inks (Hybrid inks) and left it to dry before taking the tape away.
  • Once dry, I then used the Autumnal Tree layering stamps, following the numbers and used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (Walnut Stain and black for the tree and then Antique Linen for the 2nd layer, Walnut Stain and Crackling Campfire for the 3rd and 4th ones).
  • I then used the leaves stamp within the set to add some falling leaves just under the tree.
  • I also edged the tag with some black and after having attached the background to the front of an A6 white card using PVA glue, I then added the tag with foam pads to give it some height.
  • Finally, I stamped out the Congratulations sentiment out on to some white card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink, fussy cut around it and then added it to the bottom of the card using foam pads.

  Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is one that would be great for Valentine's Day and makes use of both dies and stamps! I had cut the backing layer for another project but didn't use it so decided to use it with this one. It is a Rose Gold colour Mirror card and the die is from Stamps By Me (I think). I attached it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card using fingerlift tape as I didn't want to have any glue showing. I stamped the cute kids image out on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink - the stamp is from Bring on the Boys collection from Linnie Pink I coloured them in using Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Triblenders as they make colouring in so easy with the 3 shades in one pen. I used blue and green Distress Oxide inks for the background and then edged it with a black alcohol marker. Hummingbird shadow effect on C6 white card -  Day 267 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 267) came about after I had cut out the "Songbird" die from the Couture collection and thought it would be really useful as a stencil using some inks. To make the topper:- I had cut out the "Songbird" die (from Couture by Create and Craft) out in white card and thought that it would make a really good stencil to use as a background. I took one of the Stamping card tags from Craftwork Cards (in the " Stamping Must haves ) collection and coloured over the die-cut in various places (also reversing it so the bird was looking the other way).I used a variety of green ink pads - Tm Holtz " Mowed Lawn " and Generation INX G01. Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card - Day 265 of my 365 day challenge

Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card -  Day 265 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! The rain has finally stopped and so I have made this simple but effective card using stamps and dies... How I made this card:- I used one of Tattered Lace Floral Wreath dies to cut out the main topper in white card. I then coloured it with various shades of green alcohol markers and when I was happy with it, I stuck it to some Gold Mirri Card (approximately 3" square) and then using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (or Gina K's Connect glue) I attached it to the front of a 6" black pearlescent card which is part of the Core Collection from Create & Craft so it formed a diamond shape. Using Orange, Red and Yellow Bleeding Art Tissue, I coloured some card and when it was dry I used a Tattered Lace Nested Beads Essential Circle Dies to die cut a circle.
