Day 65 of my 366 Day challenge

Hi Craft addicts

So the weekend is here but my 366 day challenge continues - I made this card from a hand coloured (by myself) image from Chameleon colour card pad.

I first of all coloured the butterflies in using the Bright blues Spectrum Noir alcohol markers - I am gradually getting better at shading - but obviously still have a lot to learn...

I then used the yellow, orange and black options to colour the sunflowers in - I used the blender pen to give the centres a bit more texture. I then finished the picture off by colouring in the leaves and stems using the greens.

Once they were done, I then used a clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen to make the butterflies shimmer a bit more. I placed the image onto some gold Mirror card (the A6 mats from Hunkydory) and then glued it on to a sheet of the Ombre pad from Craftwork Cards, making sure that it showed the shading from orange to the light yellow.

I stuck the whole topper on to the white 7" x 5" card ensuring that there was an equal border around it using Collall All Purpose glue as it allows you that "wiggle" time. and then added some Nuvo yellow and black Crystal drops to the top left and bottom right hand corners.

I thought it needed something else so added some extra blue shading to a paper rose and stuck it on the bottom left hand corner using a glue gun.

As you can see from both pics, I have left it blank (both on the front and inside) but have added a "SMILE" sentiment to it to show you how it would look if it included that instead.

I had thought of putting it in a frame - so for the next one I do, I might actually do that - will see how it looks!
