Happy Easter - Bunnies and Easter Eggs C6 green card - Day 60 of my 365 day challenge

Happy Easter - Bunnies and Easter Eggs C6 green card -
Day 60 of my 365 day challenge

Hi Craft Addicts!

Day 60 of my 365 day challenge and this project is an Easter Card which hopefully will cheer someone up! I have used a Crafty Expressions stamps, some background papers from Tonic Studios and Stylish Silhouettes Rainbow Radiants pad.

How I made this card:-

  • I still have some of these shaped cards that I need to use up, so thought an Easter card would be ideal.. I first of all cut a panel of the Flowery Tonic Studios' Mid Summer Morning 8" paper pad using my Cutterpillar Pro and attached it to the front of the card.
  • I then tore 3 strips of green paper (from the Rainbow Radiants 6" paper pad from Hunkydory's Stylish Silhouettes) and used 2 of the darker shade for the top and bottom parts and the lighter one in the middle and stuck them to the bottom of the card.
  • I then stamped out various images from the Crafty Expressions Spring Fun set using Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed them using Clear embossing powder.
  • I coloured them in using various shades of alcohol markers - greys for the rabbits, browns and pinks for the birdhouse, blues and reds for the tulips and greens etc for the Easter Egg.
  • i cut them out leaving a small white border around them all and stuck them on to the card. The rabbit border was stuck on the top of the card with the bird house underneath it. i didn't glue the top of the green papers so that I could place some of the flowers behind them.
  • I also stamped out the Happy Easter sentiment and cut it into two and glued it either side of the egg and just below the bunnies,

And there you are a cheerful and fun card that is simple to make....
