I herd it was your birthday (cartoon cow) fun C6 card -
Day 66 of my 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!

Today's card for my challenge (day 66) has been made using a Rare Earth stamp on a C6 card from Paper Boutique - think it is really fun and is easy to make.

How I made this card:-

  • I took a pre cut sheet of C6 blue card from PaperCharm and cut out a circle aperture in the centre of it (towards the top) using a Tattered Lace die and edged it with a blue alcohol marker.
  • I then trimmed the whole panel so that it fitted the front of the card and set it aside for the moment.
  • I stamped the cow image from the Wonderful Wildlife set from Rare Earth on to some white stamping card, which I think it is so cute and coloured it in using greys and browns alcohol marker and then stamped two of the flour sacks and again coloured them this time adding a purple flower.
  • I cut them out leaving a narrow white border.
  • I stuck the blue panel on to the white card (leaving the bottom part of the circle unglued) and stuck the cow inside the circle (having cut a small snip in between the legs so that I could hang the front one over the edge.
  • I then stamped the "I herd it was your birthday..." on to some white card and cut it out and again edged it in blue  and stuck it to the middle of the card just under the aperture.
  • Finally, I added the two flour sacks either side of the sentiment using foam pads to give them some dimension.

And there you are a really fun card that is simple to make....
