Congrats Birds and Rose DL card - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!

Today's latest handmade card is using a process I haven't tried before but will definitely do so again!

  • I first of all took a piece of black card (I used Lynda Chapman's cardstock from Creative Crafting World) and measured it so that it would fit the front of a white DL card (Landscape format).
  • I then took the birds, Congrats and Rose stamps from Toni Darroch's Stamp by Me Congratulations Silhouettes set and placed them onto a stamping platform, making sure they fitted the cardstock.
  • I then stamped them on to the card using Gina K White Pigment ink and let it dry as it is sticky for some time.
  • Once dry, I used Stabilo colouring pencils to colour the images in - I really like the subtle effect they create.
  • I then used some scissors to add a wavy edge to the card and stuck it to the front of a white DL card (landscape) with PVA glue.
  • Finally I used some Nuvo drops to each side to add some dimension.

So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:-
