Cracker Season's Greetings Christmas card
Cracker Season's Greetings Christmas square card
Hi Craft addicts!
This is a slightly more complicated card (well for me it is) but had great fun making it - see below as to how I made it....
How I made this project:-
- You need two 5" square cards to make this card - and to start with you need to stick the left hand flap of one of them on top of the right hand flap of the second - I used PVA glue as it grabs relatively quickly.
- Once it was dry, I then opened it out and cut the flaps diagonally from the top left to bottom right hand corners - reversing it for the right hand flap.
- I measured the inside of the card and cut out a panel of the yellow tartan paper (from an old Craftstyle A4 pad I have had for ages) and then added a piece of Mustard Yellow paper in the middle of it so there is somewhere to write your message.
- I then cut two triangles out of the tartan card and stuck them to both flaps using PVA glue.
- I cut out two Crackers (from a Sweet Dixie die) one in white, the other in red and glued them on top of each other slightly offsetting them. I coloured the leaves using a Green alcohol marker and the tendrils in Orange.
- I also cut it out in silver and trimmed around the flower and placed it on the cracker with some PVA glue.
- I then attached it to the left hand flap placing glue only on the part that was on the card.
- Finally, I stamped out the Scroll out on to some Green paper using Black Gina K Amalgam ink and then added the Season's Greetings sentiment with Versamark ink and then covered it with White embossing powder and heat set it. I cut around it and then stuck it to the bottom part of the card again using PVA glue.
