I'm grateful for you... Leaves A6 card - 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's latest handmade card is another one using the Autumnal Blessings collection from Crafter's Companion along with various other products:-
- I decided to use the Scattered Leaves stencil from the Autumnal Blessings collection from Crafter's Companion directly on to the front of an A6 white card.
- I placed it over the card and used a variety of Autumnal colours (greens, browns and yellows) - mainly Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks but also Harmony inks from Crafter's Companion.
- When I was happy with the effect, I rounded the corners of the card using a Hunkydory Corner punch.
- I used the smaller of the Oval Spellbinders Petit Picot edge die and cut it out in white card and whilst it was still in the die I coloured the inside using Nuvo Safari Green ink pad which mean that the outside edge would remain white.
- I took it out of the die and left it to dry.
- I cut out the larger of the skeleton leaves using some cardstock that I had previously coloured using Aladine Izink sprays.
- I stuck it to the middle of the frame using a dotty glue pen (no glue comes through intricate dies) - or you could use self adhesive paper to attach the card to first.
- I attached it to the front of the card using foam pads to give it some height and then attached the "I am grateful for you" sentiment on to the bottom of the card with a tape pen.
