Merry Christmas to all circle Christmas Card - 365 day challenge

  Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is this one made totally from scratch. I used the largest circle (about 4") Petit Picot edge die from Spellbinders and cut out two pieces of card - the front is Paper Dienamic Metallink A4 card and the back part is Sheena Douglass A4 white willow card. I scored the back part about 3/4" towards the top and married the two pieces together and added some red liner tape, removed the carrier sheet and stuck them to each other. The black frame is cut out of Lynda Chapman's Black card using the Inverted Scallop die from Crafter's Companion Gemini collection and I stuck it to the front of the card using a dotty pen as it allows the glue to only go on places it needs to. I had a scrap piece of red cardstock and I cut the oval bauble (from Creative Expressions Sue Wilson Festive Collection Sparkle Baubles set) and then used silver mirror card to cut out the top part. Happy Birthday Foliage in silhouette scalloped card - 365 day challenge

  Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card (literally) is a Birthday card using Hybrid inks and a stencil. I first of all took the largest scalloped nested rectangle die from the Lisa Horton collection and cut two pieces of white card out. I scored just where the first scallop ends on the long part of the card using my Hunkydory Adorable Scoreboard and added some red liner tape, removed the backing and attached the other piece of card to the front, making sure it was level. I also cut out a piece of white card out using the next straight edged die within the same collection and edged it with a black alcohol marker. I used a further piece of white stamping card and created the topper by blending in Spectrum Noir Harmony Water reactive inks to make a sunset background - using Lemon Tonic, Fuschia and Honey Pot pads. You're too kind... DL card - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!       Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one using dies and stamps.... I decided to try a different way of using the Shabby Edge rectangle die from Tattered Lace and cut it out in a caramel coloured cardstock. I then used the Creative Expressions Slimline collection - Inner Scalloped Rectangle aperture trio die and cut out the three apertures in the card. I used the complimentary Outer Scalloped edge die and used it to cut a piece of white card. To create the striped background, I used the left over waste die cuts from a Lisa Horton die and coloured through it with various pastel hybrid inks - from Tim Holtz Distress Oxide to Aladine Izink ink cubes. I then attached it to the back of the caramel card using PVA glue and then added the white aperture frame on top of them both.
