Hallowe'en Mini A7 cards - 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's project are two mini cards I created using dies, stamps and Ink Lily Glimmer pens...
For both cards
- I used A7 cards from Hunkydory and rounded the corners using a Hunkydory punch.
- I also used Tonic Studios Rectangle tag die to cut out about 8 pieces in white cardstock and stuck them all together. You can use black card such as Lynda Chapman's (from Creative Crafting World)
- The backgrounds are also made the same way for both cards using the Summer collection of Ink Lily Glimmer pens - you can't see how great the sparkle is from the photo unfortunately.
- I then added some trees and birds in silhouette using a Black fineliner pen and added them to the two A7 cards - one landscape and one portrait. With the former one I trimmed the loop so it fitted the card.
- Both the Dracula figure and the pumpkin are from the For The Love of Stamps Halloween set that came out last year and so I stamped them on to some white card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink.
- I coloured them in using both Spectrum Noir Tri-blender markers and Prisma pencils and then fussy cut around them leaving a narrow white border around them.
Card No. 1 (Left)
- I attached the Dracula figure to the bottom right hand corner with a tape pen.
- I also stamped the sentiment out from a Sizzix Halloween collection again using Gina K Obsidian Black ink, added it to some orange and then black cardstock having fussy cut around them all and stuck it to the middle of the card again with a tape pen.
Card No. 2 (Right)
- I attached the Pumpkin to the bottom right hand corner of the tag using a tape pen.
- I then cut out the Spooky sentiment (from Sweet Dixie) out using Lynda Chapman's Black card and stuck it to the bottom left hand corner with tape pen.
