Thankful for you.... Autumn tree 4in card - 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge is another one in my Autumn themed range.... Very easy to do and great to look at!
- I first of all cut out a circle using one of the smaller Spellbinders Petit Picot edge die using some stamping card
- I then used the Autumnal Tree layering stamps to create the tree directly on to the circle (using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks - Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Crackling Campfire and Gathered Twigs) - I used a mix of Gina K Obsidian Black ink along with a bit of Walnut Stain for the 1st layer which is the tree and then followed the numbers on each stamp.
- I added a sky background using what was left on my "blue" blending brush.
- Before sticking the topper down, I rounded the corners of a 4" white card using my Hunkydory Prism punch and then coloured the edges using the "brown" blending brush.
- I used a dotty glue pen to stick the topper down as it doesn't let the glue seep through the holes!
- I stamped the "Thankful for You" sentiment out on to some white card again using Gina K Obsidian Black ink, added it to some brown cardstock (from the Autumnal Blessings card collection), fussy cut around both of them and added it to the bottom of the card with foam pads.
