Celebrate! Fairy on fancy background small card - Day 283 of my 366 day challenge
Celebrate! Fairy on fancy background small card -
Day 283 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Fairies once again feature in this card for today's challenge - this time using a Spellbnders die on top of a Tattered Lace one. I think this would make a lovely theme for a boxed set of cards that would make a great gift.
How to make this card:-
- I must admit this is a very simple card to make..so I first of all decided that i would use an 88x114mm card - this one is a pre-cut/scored card out of Centura Pearl which I got from Craft Creations - but you could easily make your own card if you wanted to.
- I cut out the "Fairy" in black shiny paper using the "Cali"Shapeabilities die from Spellbinders.
- I then cut out the oval panel out of white cardstock using the Tattered Lace "Pearl Pin dot Oval" die (the middle size one)
- I used some Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue and attached it to the centre of the card and then placed some glue on just the body of the "Fairy" and added it to the middle of the panel. (The wings can still move if you wanted to)
- I also stamped the flower twice to give it a double petal effect and added some "Caribbean Ocean" Nuvo crystal drops to the centre.
- Finally, I added some "Morning Dew" drops (they will dry clear) to opposite corners.
- For the inside, I stamped "Celebrate" and one of the "flowers" using the Marion Emberson Design stamps.
And there you are a card using dies, and some Nuvo drops!. Don't forget you can visit The Handmade Crafts Shop anytime to see what else I have for sale or sign up to my monthly newsletter here
