Just a note - abstract flower C6 white card -
day 261 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
So for today's card, I have used a "flower" made from Creative Expressions dies (both open and closed) in three colours on a C6 white card...
To make the embellishment and card:-
- I took the "Delicate Daisies" Open and Closed dies from Sue Wilson (Creative Expressions) and cut them out in "Black", "Blue", "Orange" and "White" cardstock
- I then built up the flower alternating the colours and off set them so they looked "flower" like.
- I used a "Picot" edged oval die from Tattered Lace and cut out one of the largest sizes in black card.
- I glued this on to the front of the card using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue towards the top.
- I added the flower to the middle of the black oval using the same glue and then added some "Ripened Pumpkin" Nuvo crystal drops to some of the petals and a pearl drop to the middle of the flower.
- Once again, the sentiment "Just a note" came from the Craftwork Cards "Year of Sentiments" book and all I did was add it to some of their "Noir de Luxe" 8" papers and attached it to the card using some foam pads.
- I also added a drop of the Nuvo drops to it to cover up the hole in the tag.
And there you are, a really quick and easy card which you can buy here Don't forget you can visit The Handmade Crafts Shop anytime to see what else I have for sale or sign up to my monthly newsletter here
