Happy birthday - butterflies - C6 Kraft card -
Day 259 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
A very quick and easy card this time as I was having real problems posting pics on here - just using a simple die from Tattered Lace, a background die from Spellbinders and a Kraft card..
To make the card -
To make the card -
- i first of all cut out the white background using a Spellbinders die - as it is quite wide, I trimmed it to give a larger border around it.
- Using a Smoothie sponge I coloured the edges of the panel;
- I glued it to the front of a C6 Kraft card using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue.
- For the butterflies and the "Happy Birthday" sentiment, I cut it out in "silver" Mirri card using one of the new Tattered Lace "Happy Birthday" dies.
- I then coloured the whole thing in different colours using Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers - "Blue", "Orange/Tan" and "Green" as I really love the effect this creates.
- I then snipped the "Butterflies" and the sentiment so they were all individual pieces and glued them on to the card.
And there you are, a really quick and easy card. Don't forget you can visit The Handmade Crafts Shop anytime to see what else I have for sale or sign up to my monthly newsletter here
