With Love hand coloured Dreamcatcher on blue background - 

Day 268 of my 366 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!

Today's challenge (a bit late I know) is a card made using the "Dreamcatcher" die from Tattered Lace, some inks and a 6" square card... Read on if you want to know how I made it...                                                                                                                                             

To make the topper:-

• I first of all cut out the "Dreamcatcher" die (from Tattered Lace) in white cardstock and coloured it in using pale pink inks from Generation INX (PI02).
• I then cut out the "Picot edged" circle again in white card. This time colouring it in using "Blue - B01" and "Purple - P01" inks.
• I also still had the "waste" left over from some flowers/shapes I had cut out and used it as a stencil to add the detail to the background using more of the above colours.

To make the card up:-

• I coloured the edges of a 6" white linen effect card with some blue inks so it co-ordinated with the background.
• Using some black twine, I attached the "Dreamcatcher" to the panel (keeping it in the right place with some tape).
• I added the whole thing to the card using some foam strips.
• I used the "With Love" stamp from the sentiment collection by Marion Emberson designs and stamped it in the bottom left hand corner (I used "Dark blue" Papermania Dye based ink pad cube). I also added the "Little bird" stamp from the same collection in black Versafine ink,
• Finally, I used the "Midnight Blue" and "Morning Dew" Nuvo crystal drops from Tonic Studios and added them to the right hand side of the card and in the centre of the flowers/circles.

• Collall All Purpose glue
• Fingerlift tape
• Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue
