Floral (Graphic45) design on blank 6" card -
Day 215 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Graphic 45 and Craftwork Cards come together to make today's 6" white card for my 366 day challenge - day 215 which I can't believe!
So first of all, I used a pre-embossed diamond checked 6" square card from Craftwork Cards and coloured the panel that was embossed with red and orange Generation INX pads - (I like these as they give quite a muted look). I then cut a piece of paper and placed it over part of the pattern at an angle and coloured it with some green ink (repeating it at the top and side too).
I then cut a strip of the "tartan" paper/card that comes in the "Raining Cats and Dogs" 12" paper pad from Graphic 45 (but it does appear in some others too). and stuck it to the edge of the embossed panel. I also added the "yellow" jagged edged strip of card that I had cut out using my Brother ScanNCut in the middle of it. I wanted it to stand out a bit more so added some black peel off stickers to both sides of it.
For the topper, I cut out one of the small panels that you find in the "Artisan Style" 8" paper pad again from Graphic 45 and mat and layered it on to first of all some white and then some black cardstock as I thought it made it stand out more.
Finally, I added it to the card using some thick foam pads and then added a few drops of the "Dandelion Yellow" and "Golden Sunset" Nuvo acrylic drops to the raised diamonds on the embossed part.
And there you are....a really lovely card Don't forget you can visit my website The Handmade Crafts Shop to see what I have for sale.
