Day 232 of my 366 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!

Today's card is following on from yesterday's card which quite a few people seemed to like and again uses white on white as its' theme.

So first of all, I decided to actually go for a shaped card - i do try and avoid them as I am never sure how to work with them - but anyway,....

• I cut out the Byzantine style lattice panel (from Creative Expressions) in white card and glued it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card (from Hunkydory I think).I used Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue this time as you can direct it where you want it to go (if that makes sense).
• I used a "smoothie" sponge which had some Tim Holtz "Mowed Lawn" (Green) distress inks to colour 6 of the "waste" bits that came from the main die and glued them into each corner and the middle ones on either side.
• Using my Brother ScannCut and its' web app CANVAS, I resized the flower and cut it out in white and again coloured it using the green sponge and also one that had some of the Cosmic Shimmer "Summer Sky" Colour Cloud Blending ink.  
• I also cut out some butterflies and coloured them too - I think they are from Tattered Lace.
• I repeated the colours on a sentiment "You'll be missed" that came from the "Year of Sentiments" pad from Craftwork Cards.
• I then glued them all to the card (with the sentiment being attached on the card with foam pads).
• To finish the card off I used a pale green button and glued that to the centre of the flower and added some "Caribbean Ocean" and "Dandelion Yellow" (gloss) Nuvo crystal drops to the top left hand corner.
