The Sky's the Limit.... A6 card - 365 day challenge

 Hi Craft addicts!

Today's handmade card for my 365 day challenge is one made using a mix of products and could be for any occasion...

  • I had previously created the background using Creative Expressions Pixie Powders sprinkled on previously dampened Lynda Chapman's Black card and then added a bit more powders and water to it until I was happy with it.
  • I let it dry and then cut a panel out using the Inverted scallop A6 die from Crafter's Companion and put it to one side.
  • I had also coloured a piece of white card, this time with Hybrid inks and cut it out using the same die this time keeping the inside panel for another project.
  • I attached both sections to the front of an A6 white card, the corners of which I had rounded using a punch. I now see that it isn't quite straight but you would make sure it was!
  • I stamped out the Space images from a collection from Crafter's Companion Gemini set using Gina K Obsidian Black ink and cut them out with the co-ordinating dies.
  • I coloured them in using Prismacolor and Stabilo FSC pencils and then added a face (which admittedly looks a bit scary) to the spaceman!
  • I used a tape pen to add them to the scene and then stamped out the "The Sky's the Limit" sentiment (from Rare Earth) and added it to the front of the card at a jaunty angle.

So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:-
