You'll be missed Sea scene with fishing boats hand coloured/stamped card -
Day 204 of 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
For today's challenge, I have used a hand coloured scene, along with stamps to make this 7" square card. You can buy it on my website by clicking on the "Buy Now" button below....
So first of all, I used some distress and dye based inks (Tim Holtz and Generation INX in pads to create the background - I used torn off paper strips to create the waves and then used a paintbrush to blend some of the colours in.
I then used the largest of the "fish" stamps from the "Take it Easy" Stamp collection from Craftwork Cards and stamped 4 of them on either side of the card and then coloured them in using the "Sea Spray" Twinkling H2O shimmering watercolour paints.
Once they were all dry, I then glued the background on to the card using Collall All Purpose Glue trying to make it equal on both sides.
The card can be left blank on the front, but I added the "You'll be missed" sentiment that is from the "Year of Sentiments" collection again from Crafwork Cards to the top right hand corner to see what it looked like!
And there you are....a really simple but stylish card - You can buy it here
