Special birthday wishes - Trio of flowers DL aperture card -
Day 209 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Day 209 of my 366 day challenge and this time I have used a trio of flower toppers from the "Florals" Bigger Book of Toppers from Hunkydory in an aperture DL card that again comes from Hunkydory.
Once I had seen these toppers, I realised that they probably would fit in the spaces left when you take out the pre cut circles and frames from the DL aperture from Hunkydory. So I double checked to make sure they did and then placed the top one inside the space and glued it to the inside of the card (where you will sign the greeting). It is great as the scalloped edges fit perfectly and so you can make sure that they are in the right place and the right way up!
I then repeated the process with the bottom flower and took one of the smaller sentiment toppers and added it to the centre aperture.
To decorate the front of the card, I added 4 drops of the "Rhubarb Crumble" acrylic Nuvo drops to the spaces within the apertures and then a row of "Rhubarb Crumble" and "Golden Sunset" to the scalloped edge.
And there you are....a really simple and fun card which you can buy on my website
