Floral panel on Kraft 7"x5" card - Day 198 of my 366 day challenge
Floral panel on Kraft 7"x5" card - Day 198 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
As it is the weekend, I thought I would make this simple 7" x 5" card using a Tattered Lace panel die.
The floral panel is the "Adele" die (it measures 11x14.5mm approximately) from Tattered Lace which I cut out of white cardstock. I decided I wanted to keep it mainly uncoloured so attached it to the front of a 7" x 5" Kraft card (these are from DoCrafts Papermania) using a thin layer of Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue.
Once it was on the card, I realised that it probably did need some colour so used various Spectrum Aqua Markers to fill in some of the flowers and leaves" blending them in with a paintbrush.
I then added a narrow strip of zig zag edged purple cardstock to the top of the card and a flower that I had made using pink and yellow copier paper using some Tattered Lace flower dies along with the purple Spellbinders flower die. I also added some Reddish purple Glittler Nuvo crystal drops in the centre and allowed it to dry.
To finish the card off, I added the flower to the bottom right hand corner, added some "Duck Egg Blue" and "Morning Dew" (which dries clear) Nuvo Crystal drops to various parts of it.
The insert (cream paper) has been left blank but could have a message or image stamped on it.
And there you are....a card suitable for all occasions. - and don't forget you can visit my website The Handmade Crafts Shop to see what I have for sale.
