Birds on branch on a patchwork frame using Hunkydory kit - Day 191 of my 366 day challenge
Birds on branch on a patchwork frame using Hunkydory kit -
Day 191 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
So for today's challenge, I have used a really pretty topper (with the frames) from Hunkydory.
I first of all took a "checked" frame (taking the inner square out to use for something else) and glued the outer "patchwork" frame on top of it and stuck that on to the centre of the white card (This is a 144mm white card which has a "linen" effect).
I then added the smaller plain frame and added that to it so it was diamond shaped instead of square. Once that was done, I used some foam pads to attach the topper to the middle of it (trying to make sure it was in the right place).
It is really hard to find 4 buttons that are exactly the same, so I coloured 4 simliar ones using the BP4 (Bright Pink) Spectrum Noir alcohol marker and left them to dry for a bit. Once that was done, I used Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue to attach each of them to all 4 corners. I also used some pale pink pearl drops (I think these are Dreamees) to each point of the diamond.
And there you are....a notepad set with a difference that will make a great gift - you can buy it here and don't forget you can visit my website The Handmade Crafts Shop to see what else I have for sale.
