Hummingbird monochrome square card - Happy birthday - Day 106 of my 366 day challenge
Hummingbird monochrome square card - Happy birthday -
Day 106 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
It is a rainy day here today but at least it is Friday! So for today's challenge, I have made a monochrome card using the Tattered Lace Hummingbird Tapestry die as the main focal point.
I cut out the main black wavy edged frame using my Brother Scan n Cut (designed in Canvas).and stuck it in the middle of the card. I then cut the Tattered Lace Hummingbird Tapestry die in both black and white cardstock and glued them together slightly offsetting them so it has a shadow effect.
I then placed it over the main frame and stuck it down. I then cut out the yellow dragonfly using a Sue Wison die and glued it in the top left hand corner. I also used the Nuvo Clear crystal drops and added them to the main frame.
For the inside of the card, I stamped "Happy Birthday to You" and the "butterfly" from the Honeydoo Crafts Birthday sentiments stamp collection directly on to the card using "Onyx Black" Versafine ink pad.
And there you are a quick and easy card you can make in minutes!
