Happy birthday card using Pollyanna Pickering field mouse design - Day 93 of my 366 day challenge
Happy birthday card using Pollyanna Pickering field mouse design -
Day 93 of my 366 day challenge
So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:-
Hi Craft addicts!
What a lovely sunny day it is today! I hope it is the same where you are! So for day 93 of my challenge - can't believe this time next week and it will be my 100th! Anyway, back to this one...
I wanted to try a variety of things on this card, so I first of all cut the "Happy Birthday" frame in black card using a Tonic Studios die and then added the Pollyanna Pickering small topper from the British Wildlife paper collection (which I had previously layered it on to white cardstock).
This was then placed on a cream backing paper which I had left over from another project.
For the card itself, I chose a 135mm square Kraft card which comes with a matching envelope (DoCrafts Papermania). I first of all dusted it with an anti-static pad making sure all dirty marks were removed, and then embossed the edge with a flower image from the Victoria Nelson "Love in Bloom" stamp collection using clear embossing powder,
Once that was done, I added the topper on to it using very thin foam pads to give it some height. I then added some clear Nuvo crystal drops in each corner and in the hearts of the frame and allowed it to dry.
I stamped a cream insert with the same flower and hand painted it in yellow and orange Aqua markers from Spectrum Noir and repeated this on the envelope's flap and also made a label for the front.
And there you are a card that is easy to make but doesn't look like it...
