Enjoy your special day - gardening theme C5 card -
Day 112 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
The sun has come out and despite it being really chilly I have used a gardening theme to make this C5 white card.
I first of all took one of the "Peas" toppers from one of the Little Books from Hunkydory and cut off the sentiment and the "postcard" part of it. I matt and layered the topper and sentiment onto some black card.
I used some masking tape and coloured the "scalloped" edge of the front part of the card using Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud Blending Ink - Fresh Grass which is a really lovely colour and blends very easily.
I stuck the topper on to the front of the card and lined up the sentiment "Enjoy your Special Day" on the inside to match it.
I then glued the gardening die-cuts in various places - the larger of the two pairs on the front and the fork and trowel on either side of the sentiment.
I also added the watering can inside as an added embellishment. I used Nuvo crystal drops in green to the edge of the card and added Glossy accents to the pea pods.
