Happy birthday - Butterfly personalised card - Day 98 of my 366 day challenge
Happy birthday - Butterfly personalised card -
Day 98 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft Addicts!
I have been going through some of the cards that I have made over the past few weeks and haven't yet made them again so for the next couple of days (leading up to my 100th post on Saturday) I will be writing about them!!
The first one is a card I made which was personalised and features the butterfly from the "Mariposa" collection from the Couture range from Create & Craft.
I first of all cut out the floral panels in white cardstock and then also the butterfly frame in purple I then cut out the main butterfly in yellow from the same collection.
I coloured the flowers and leaves in pink and green alcohol markers before placing them on to a square card. I then added the purple butterfly inside the frame and finally added the yellow one just gluing the body part so that the wings could stand out.
As you can see from the photo, I then added the "Happy birthday" sentiment (from Tonic Studios) just above the butterfly and some painted wooden letters below. This personalisation could of course be printed rather than using the letters.
And there you are a striking card that is bright and cheerful! You will be able to buy on my website soon.
Don't forget - if you order something before June 1st, you will receive a 10% discount on orders over £25.00 - visit www.thehandmadecraftsshop.co.uk
