Elephant eating grass DL card Pollyanna Pickering design - Day 109 of my 366 day challenge

Elephant eating grass DL card Pollyanna Pickering design -
Day 109 of my 366 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!

I have once again used an elephant eating grass image from the "Walk in the Wild" Pollyanna Pickering's Card Popper Pad to make this DL card.

Elephant eating grass DL card Pollyanna Pickering designI cut out the "tribal" looking border strip using one of the "Honeycomb Simple Screens" die set from Tonic Studios in black cardstock. You can decide on how wide the strip can be so might want it narrower than I have done.

I glued it into place and then started work on the topper. It comes with a lovely frame but I wanted it to have a black border so cut the outer one away and then glued it to some black card. I then used strip foam pads by Hunkydory to place it in the centre of the card.

I had already cut out the strip in Kraft card so used some of the "waste" honeycombs and placed them back into the border to add some colour.  I really love the effect that the strip creates but added some gold, clear and black Nuvo crystal drops along the edges and various places.

If I was making this card for someone I would probably put a sentiment on the front and a mesage inside  but you could use one of the inserts that comes with the Pollyanna Pickering insert collection or create one using the stamps that co-ordinate with the series.

And there you are a quick and easy card that is fun to make - you can buy it on my website
