Sending Lots of Love Daffodil in silhouette 7x5in card - Day 239 of my 365 day challenge
Sending Lots of Love Daffodil in silhouette 7x5in card -
Day 239 of my 365 day challenge
I am quite obsessed with making cards etc with the main item in black card as a silhouette and so have made this one for day 239 of my 365 day challenge...
How I made this card:-
- I cut out the Tattered Lade Daffodil die in Lynda Chapman's black card stock and using Midas Touch sticky dots, attached it to some gold Mirri card (Hunkydory or Kanban).
- I then cut round it leaving a narrow border of the gold Mirri card.
- Using another Tattered Lace die set (this time the oval label set), I cut the smaller one in white and a large one in black.
- Before attaching the white panel on to the black, I attached two rows of thin ultra strong red liner tape to the centre of the latter one and added some Gold Glitter Embossing Powder and heat set them.
- Once I had done that, I glued the white panel (having edged it with some green ink) on to it using Gina K glue (am road testing several types of glue) and then added both to the front of a 7" x 5" white card.
- I used the Sending and Lots of Love stamps from Birch Press Designs to stamp the sentiment on the top left and bottom right part of the card.
- Finally, I used some narrow foam strips to the back of the Daffodil panel and attached it to the centre of the card.
And there you are card that would be great to give to someone to say you are thinking of them and want to send them love...
