Many Happy Returns A6 birthday card - Day 214 of my 365 day challenge

Many Happy Returns A6 birthday card -
Day 214 of my 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!

I really like playing with using different coloured inks to get a multicoloured effect and feel it has worked well on this A6 Birthday card made for day 214 of my 365 day challenge.

How I made this card:-

  • I stamped the Happy sentiment on to some white stamping card (it is an old stamp from Craftwork Cards) using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
  • I then took the Many and Returns stamp from the same set, placed them where I wanted them and stamped them out using a red Altenew ink pad.
  • I edged the whole panel with a blue alcohol marker and left it to dry a bit.
  • Using a variety of ink pads (mini cubes), I added Orange, Green, Blue, Yellow, Purple colours to the Rare Earth Checked stamp, Huffed on it (ie breathed on it) and then stamped it on another panel of white card (120x90mm). I really like the effect it made first time so edged it with a black alcohol marker.
  • I glued it to the front of an A6 white linen effect card using a tape pen and then attached the sentiment to it, this time using thin foam pads so it had a bit of dimension.
  • Finally, I added two gold Craftwork Cards Candi to opposite sides to give it a bit of colour.

And there you are a card that is very easy to make and hopefully would make a great card to give to someone  on their birthday!
