Hello - Tiger on paw print background with paw prints 7" square card -  Day 121 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! This is something different today - I have only used one topper (again from the " Walk in the Wild " card making kit from Pollyanna Pickering , the rest having been made using designs from SVG files that were on the accompanying DVD and others from the Brother " Stam p" files that you can get on the Scan n Cut. So, first of all, I decided on which files I wanted to use - these were " Paw print circl e" and the " hello ". I adjusted them to measure 13.5cm square for the first one, and 8cm for the latter. I then used some American Craft Black 216gsm cardstock and cut all the images out - I had designed them all in CANVAS and saved them to the memory.  As all the " paws " cut out separately it is important to make sure that all the component parts are not lost! I stuck the background paw p...

Happy Times - Tiger and cub Pollyanna Pickering wall hanging -  Day 120 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So for today's challenge, I have made this wall hanging using one of the delightful Pollyanna Pickering's Tiger and cub image. I first of all painted the plaque (which measures approximately 17x8cm ) with a couple of coats of Pebeo black Gesso acrylic paint.  Whilst it was drying, I cut out a strip of Kraft card using the Honeycomb Screen die from Tonic Studios and I threaded some narrow white ribbon through alternate holes and then attached it to the plaque using hot glue on the reverse. I really like the Popper pads that Creative Crafting World produce and I used one of the Tiger and cub images from the Pollyanna Pickering " Walk in the Wild" one, cutting the border off so it fitted the plaque and glued it using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue. I then cut out one of the " Happy Times " sentiments out from the same pad and glued it...

1920's lady hand coloured Kraft party bag - Day 119 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! Day 119 of my challenge and for today have made something slightly different - this time I have decorated a Kraft bag to make a Party bag ... I first of all printed off the image of the Art Deco 1920's lady (I had decided on tall I would like it to be before doing so using Serif's Craft Artist Professional 2 ). I then coloured her in using Spectrum Noir pens - there is still so much to learn about colouring! I used CR4 , CR5 along with brown for her hair and a lilac one for the hemline and shoes.  Once it was dry, I placed it on to some bright pink mirror card leaving a small border around it.  I then glued it to one side of the Kraft bag (which measures 27x17cm approximately) in the middle of the handles. I added a flower (a pre made small pink one from Hobby House ) using my hot glue gun to a die-cut flower shape in black card and attached it to the top ...

Especially for you... Flower in pot - DL Kraft card - Day 118 of my 366 day challenge

Especially for you... Flower in pot - DL Kraft card  -  Day 118 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! I have used a DL Kraft card as the base cardstock for today's challenge as I wanted to use some of the paler Kraft card as a border strip and I thought it went well with this particular topper from Hunkydory. I first of all cut out the border strip in pale Kraft card using the "Exotic Lily" die from Tonic Studios and glued it to the centre of the card. I then chose one of the small flower toppers and added it to some black cardstock so it stood out more and did that the same to the "Especially for you " sentiment. I then attached the topper on to the card using foam pads so it had some height and then added the sentiment at the bottom of the strip. I decorated it further with some faux stitching using a black fineliner and added some Clear crystal Nuvo drops (from Tonic Studios). It is very hard to find an insert, pre ...

Create your Imagination Dragonfly panel 6" card - Day 117 of my 366 day challenge

Create your Imagination Dragonfly panel 6" card -  Day 117 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have had this topper which I made using the Tonic Studios Fanciful flutter die from their Indulgence Frames and Inserts series and though it was about time I used it for a card! So first of all I cut the main ornate frame out in white card and the layer in a purple cardstock. I then stuck them together using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue. I had some purple shimmery paper so used that as the background for the main topper, making sure that the wings were not stuck down as they are designed to " come away " from the design. I then stuck that topper on to the large background. For the card itself, I used an " All White" 6" card from Craftwork Cards and cut the embossed part of the front off. I then used both the " Soft Cerise " and " Indigo Mist" Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud Blending inks to colour the front and the sect...

Best Wishes floral 8" cream square card -  Day 116 of my 366 card challenge Hi Craft Addicts! So for today's challenge I have made this 8" floral square cream card using a couple of floral toppers from the Bigger Book of Toppers (Floral) from Hunkydory. I first of all cut a section of the front of the card using the Tattered Lace Scallop Border dies and then coloured the back section using " Soft Cerise" Cosmic Shimmer Colour cloud blending ink to soften it. I took the toppers out of the frames and placed the frames onto the front (one at a jaunty angle) of the card. I then matted the main topper and sentiment onto some black card and used some foam pads to raise them up. I also placed one of the spare toppers on to the back of the card again matting it on to some black card. I also added some apple green Nuvo crystal drops to the scalloped edge and also some Candi to the bottom left hand corner. I also cut out the bumble bee ( Tattere...
