If the Sun and Moon.... Wolf Card Challenge No. 8

If the Sun and Moon... Wolf Card Challenge No. 8

Hi Craft Addicts!

Well I am now down to the last card so have kept the one I am most pleased with to last (though there are a couple smaller cards to come..). I think the reason I like it is that is quite simple and the colours used just seem to work (well I hope they do anyway).

If the Sun and Moon.. wolf card challenge no. 8 Pollyanna PickeringSo, for this one, I used the square topper that is 5cm and placed it on some cream linen cardstock (I got mine from Craft Creations). I then used a green Spectrum Noir alcohol markers around the edges to make it stand out a bit.  I then cut a square (7.5cm) with the Spellbinders Square Swatches die in black Hunkydory Adorable Scorable and layered the topper on to it. I used Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue to do this as it does "grab" very well which you need for the black cardstock.

I used a pre die-cut green, black and white diagonal striped matt that I got from a Kanban Christmas pack and then added the layered topper on to it and stuck it to the centre of the card as I wanted to keep the front "clean", I placed a large frame (14cm) in black card which I had cut from a Verso die from Tonic Studios, along with a contrasting smaller, more detailed one (12.5cm) in Kraft card on top of it.

I didn't think it needed a sentiment on the front, so just added the "If the Sun and Moon would ever doubt...." on to a flower shape (which I'd edged in yellow in the centre inside.

With the envelope, I just added a black frame similar to the Kraft card on the front of the card and there you are my 8th card....

Only a couple more to go...

Don't forget - like all of the cards in this challenge, 50% of sales will go to the Ethiopian Wolf Conservation Programme (EWCP)....
