For You... Wolf Card Challenge No. 3 - Easel Card
Hi Craft Addicts!
Well here it is! Number 3 card - this time I have chosen to make it an easel one.
Again I have used one of the 6" x 6" card and envelope in the kit, the "Sending you a message with love sentiment and black card from the Moonlight kit.(See below for more details)
- I first of all turned the card to make it "tent fold" and then scored the front of the card in the middle and folded it back in on itself and then opened it again - this creates an "easel" card which I thought would make it more interesting.
- I then cut 2 equal pieces of the Autumn Leaves paper (14x7cm) and glued them to the two sections of the card front.
- I then added the topper to the black card (which I had already die cut using the Celtic Dream Layering die set) making sure it was in the centre of the design.
- After it was dry I then added some Collall All Purpose Glue to the bottom half leaving the top half clear and then placed it on the bottom half of the "easel" - making sure that it didn't overlap either edge of the card.
- Once I was happy with where it was, I coloured in the two Ivy flourishes using the Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers TN4 and DG2 and once I was happy with them
- I added them to the left hand side of the topper and then took 2 "For You" sentiments (one in black and one in gold) and offset the gold one so that it looked like there was a shadow and attached it to the bottom right hand corner.
- Leave the card to dry,
- I then added the sentiment to a circle of black and then one of cream cardstock - the latter being slightly scalloped so it gives it a bit of interest.
- You then decide as to where you would like it to be so that the easel stands up properly - and then use a couple of foam pads to attach it so it gives some height to it.
