Warm Wishes Cute mice and sunflowers C6 white linen effect card - Day 90 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is easy to make and would be great for all sorts of occasions - once again I have used Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps for the main toppers. How I made this card:- I had made a start on a gatefold card but thought it didn't really work so decided to use one of the panels to make this card! I coloured the panel with Rare Earth blending inks (Lavender Mist, Bluebell and Khaki) to create the landscape. I tore a piece of green paper/light card from the DoCrafts Solid 6"x6" pack and stuck it to the bottom of the panel trimming it to fit. I then cut out the tree (Bare Trees from Tattered Lace Woodland Pines collection) using brown card and some self adhesive Sticky Roll on the back. I also stamped out the sun using one of the circular frames using Yellow Distress ink (from The Essentials inserts Collection - Frames...

Have a wild time! Handstamped and coloured Safari scene 7" square scene - Day 89 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a really fun and very wild one - Safari themed with plenty of action going on in it. How I made this card:-  I decorated the front of the card using the WILD and footprint parts of the Safari Adventure mask - the word in Green and the footprints in Pure Graphiite Altenew ink pads. I cut a piece of dark green paper measuring 150x150mm sticking it to the front of the card leaving a border of about 1/2" all around. I cut a piece of White Stamping card of 140x140mm which I used as the basis of the main topper. Using blue shades of Altenew and Distress inks blending them in to create a sky effect and then green inks to create the grass area.  I used the Pure Graphite inks to create the hills (again using the Mask) between the sky and the grass. I cut the tree out of brown paper (having put some Stick Roll adhesive on the ba...

Hello Life is better in color C6 half tone circles background -  Day 88 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's project for day 88 of my 365 day challenge and this time I have used Altenew's Halftone circles for the background and that of the main sentiment. How I made this card:- I took a piece of C6 white stamping card and trimmed it slightly so that it fitted a C6 white card with a small border. I then used a Torn Edged circle die from Tattered Lace to create an aperture towards the top of the panel  and repeated the process, this time adding a slightly smaller circle so that created a frame and a mat in blue American Crafts/Core-dinations cardstock. I used one of the smaller half tone circles stamps from Altenew and coloured the panel using their red, blue, green and orange ink pads. I then took a slightly smaller one and added the black circles as I think it makes the whole thing stand out. I stuck the circle frame to the back of the panel and ...

Go Bananas! Go Let's Hang out Cute monkeys on a square card - Day 86 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a fun, whimsical card that would make a great invitation or just say can we meet up! Once again, I have used Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps and Masks to make it.... How I made this card:- I took a sheet of green and white spotty paper (which comes from Hunkydory's 8" paper pad) and trimmed it to fit the front of this 145mm square cream card. I then trimmed a plain green piece of paper to allow a narrow border and stuck it on the spotty paper. I took a piece of white stamping card (145mm) and masking the inner designs off from the inside of the Cheeky Monkeys For The Love of Stamps/Masks from Hunkydory.  I used the zig zag outside edge and coloured it in using Moss and Parrot Altenew inks (I had to move it slightly to finish the right hand side off). Using the inks, I then added the Go Bananas! sentiment which is part of...

Happy birthday C6 card with rabbits, a duck and a tree!  Day 85 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have been playing with a Tattered Lace die to make the tree along with some stamps to create this Happy Birthday card. How I made this card:- I cut out the background panel out of this checked khaki coloured paper (from Craftwork Cards) as I thought it suited this design. I used the Woodside Ferns Tattered Lace die and cut it out in green card/paper as I thought it would make a good tree! I used the Lawn Fawn Slide on Semi-circle die and cut it out in a lighter green card and trimmed it to fit the bottom of the panel and stuck it on. I then used some glue to attach the Fern die-cut to the hill allowing it to overhang the top of the panel. I had some of the rabbits and duckling left over from a previous project (these are stamps from Crafty Expressions and Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps) and stuck them around the hill. I then glued the whole panel to th...

Quackers! Cute ducks and ducklings Easter (or any other day)  -  Day 84 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a fun card that didn't take too long to make again using Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps and masks along with Zig Clean Color pens and alcohol markers. How I made this card:- This is a C6 landscape card - which makes it perfect for this type of card. I took a piece of dark green card (this is from the Red Button range) and trimmed it to fit the card using my Cutterpillar Pro allowing a small border all around it. I cut a strip of parchment paper and holding the Totally Quackers mask down on it, I used a Versamark mini ink cube to add the ink through it.  I then added some Bright White embossing powder to it and heat set it using my heat gun - I did this from the back so it didn't blow most of it away. I trimmed it a bit more to about 1.5" high not taking too much care to be totally straight and attached it to the da...

Woohoo! Another year taller giraffe in window frame 7x5in card - Day 83 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I really love this card even if I say so myself - I had watched various You Tube videos showing these Lawn Fawn dies and so I really wanted to try them out with some For The Love of Stamps stamps (of course).... How I made this card:- I must admit I played with various stamps before selecting these cute giraffe stamps from the Another Year Taller set by Hunkydory's For The Love of Stamps. The main frame is cut out from black cardstock (Lynda Chapman's World of Paper collection) and I also cut it out in a beautiful blue card and again in a blue and white spotted card (I will use the cut out pieces and use the frames later on). The dies are from Lawn Fawn and are called Peekaboo backdrop and there are 2 small and 2 large panels included too. I first of all stuck the black panel on to a larger panel of white card to give it strength and a place where i c...

Happy Easter bunny with Easter Eggs green shaped card - Day 82 of my 365 day challenge

Happy Easter bunny with Easter Eggs green shaped card -  Day 82 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I thought I would make an Easter card for today's challenge and so have used Crafty Expressions stamps, some coloured paper, alcohol markers and Zig Clean Color Pens... How I made this card:- The base card I used is a 150mm square green scalloped edged card and so I cut and tore 3 pieces of green card (2 dark and 1 lighter) - the tear shows the core which is a lighter colour.  I then stuck the lighter one using the scallop as a guide and then cut it to fit at the fold (cutting from behind so you can see where to cut). I added the 2nd and 3rd pieces to the card leaving a small gap so you could see the lighter colour. As I wanted to put the flowers and bunny coming out of the grass, I didn't add glue to the top of the paper. I used Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp 3 lots of the birds, flowers and egg on to some white stamping card and coloured them in us...
