Steampunk Lady and Gentleman DL cards - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft addicts!

Well you have two for one today! I really love these dies from Dawn Bibby and had great fun making these cards as they are very simple to make.

  • The dies could be cut directly into the front of your card if you want an edger effect but I decided not to do it this way for these cards
  • I first of all cut both dies out using Lynda Chapman's Black card from Creative Crafting World - you could add some self adhesive sheet to the reverse so you don't have to get glue everywhere.
  •  I then stuck them to the left hand sides of two DL cards using PVA glue, trimming them once the glue had dried to make them fit perfectly.
  • I had allowed a space on the right hand side of the cards and so used two different sentiments from Lisa Horton set (the pre-printed ones not the stamps but you could easily stamp sentiments on to the cards).
  • I then added 3 Nuvo drops at the top and bottom of the card to add some dimension.

So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:-
