Sometimes all you need is a splash of colour... DL card - 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
I really love silhouette or outline die cuts and these are no exception! So if you would like to know how I made it then read on!
- I used my Hunkydory Prism corner punch and rounded the edge (well I did it afterwards which was the wrong way round - so do as I say rather than do as I do!)
- I then cut a piece of card to fit the front of a DL card (these are from Paper Boutique) and using the Looks Like Rain 8" x 8" stencil from Sheena Douglass, I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink (Salty Ocean) and also some Black ink to colour through it so it looks like rain and puddles!
- I then cut out the couple and the dog from the same collection by Sheena Douglass in Lynda Chapman's Black card and glued them to the front of the panel using PVA glue.
- I then edged it with a Black alcohol marker and stuck it to the front of the card again using PVA glue.
- I used the same Salty Ocean Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink to stamp the sentiment (from Honey Doo Crafts) on to some white card, cut around it and added it to the top of the card using foam pads.
So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:-
