Be Your own kind of Beautiful 7x5in card - 365 day challenge

Hi Craft Addicts!

Today's latest handmade card was made using stencils, resist card and stamps... read how I made it below!

  • I first of all took a piece of the flower resist cardstock from Hunkydory and coloured over it using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks.
  • When I was happy with the result I used a Microfibre cloth to take away any excess ink.
  • I then used a Sue Bake Modernista dandelion stencil to ink through it to create the next layer. I used Gina K Obsidian Black ink for this and the sentiment.
  • I must admit I can't remember where the sentiment came from but thought it went well with the design so stamped it on the right hand side.
  • I attached the panel on to the front of a 7x5in Black pearlescent card which Create and Craft used to produce.
  • And there you are a quick and easy card, the design of which could also be transferred on to mixed media.

So if you think this sounds interesting then why not:-
