LOVE Two cute gnomes in front of forest 7x5in black pearlescent card - 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's latest handmade card for my 365 day challenge would be great to say you love someone - not just Valentine's Day but any day!
- I first of all used the Birch Tree embossing folder and embossed some white card and trimmed it down to approximately 3" x 5".
- I then used some black ink (Gina K Obsidian Black) and rubbed the cube over it to give it some colour.
- I stamped the two Gnomes from Francoise Read's designs for Woodware Stamps and coloured them in using Spectrum Noir Tri-blenders and cut it out leaving a very narrow white border around it - I really must start using my Scan n Cut to do this as it will give a more efficient finish to it.
- I attached the tree panel to some red textured linen effect card (from Crafter's Companion) using some finger lift tape - I had edged the tree panel with a black alcohol marker beforehand.
- I then used a Hunkydory's corner punch to round the corners of both the panel and also the black pearlescent 7" x 5" card.
- I stuck the whole panel to the front of the card again using the same tape.
- Using foam pads, I attached the gnome topper to the bottom right hand corner.
- I really like the Carousel Alphabet from dies Creative Expressions (designed by Sue Wilson) and cut the word LOVE out in the same red card and glued them to some white card using PVA glue.
- I created a wavy edged to the sentiment panel and then attached it to the top right hand corner using foam pads.
